Version 2 of Crimson ReLive 16.12.1 is now available for Windows 8.1 and 7, with the following changes...
- Fixed the manifest files so that the drivers will now show up as available to install in the installer.
- Big changes to the software device settings for the FirePro cards and M370X in the MacBook Pro (Windows 8.1 package) for improved compatibility.
- Removed rogue OS version lines of code that may have contributed to drivers not installing in the Windows 8.1 package.
Update 10/12/2016
Version 2 of Crimson ReLive 16.12.1 is now available for Windows 10.
Mac Pro edition also released today, in addition to Windows 8.1 and 7 versions.
The following changes have been made to the generic Windows 10 release:
- The Macbook Pro 2016 driver is now incorporated into the generic Windows 10 release, with a fix (FINALLY) for the installer.
It turns out that the installer configuration file had somehow injected code from the installer which told it to look for the software and driver files in the wrong directory! - A minor bug fix - Coinst 16.40.dll installer registry command now correctly updated to 16.50.dll.
- Manifest installation file now updated to correctly allow all software and driver files to be installed for Mac bootcamp graphics cards - has not been causing an issue for most in previous driver versions though it did also seem to stop the Macbook Pro 2016 driver from installing correctly - thanks to mrt for finding out the fix! Should at least make the installation of the drivers even more reliable than ever! (Done the same for the Mac Pro driver installer too).
- Updated DDU to the latest version which supports ReLive edition.
- Disabled ULPS on the latest Macbook Pro 2016 graphics cards for better performance.
- Added a couple of .dll files to the Mac Pro installer for hopefully better compatibility with ReLive edition.
- Big compatibility and overall stability update for the Windows 7 and 8.1 packages by mapping additional .dll files and updating the manifest installation files.
