UPDATE 16/12/17: V2 of Adrenalin 17.12.1 now available. Includes tweaks to Vulcan and general updates to the backend installer code and DDU in an effort to squash some bugs and improve performance.
We bring the latest AMD Adrenalin graphics driver software to the Mac, on the same release day as PC!
Lots of great optimizations to Radeon ReLive, to reduce overall in-game latency, and to fix some long-standing issues such as crashes in Overwatch!
All-in-all a worth-while update for all!
Note: Ensure you use the latest version of DDU with this. You may also not have all the features of Adrenalin software available in the software - for example my M295X doesn't have the 'Connect' panel next to the ReLive one therefore I am missing most of the new features. Your milage may vary. I suspect newer cards will have better success. I also have not tested the new overlay functionality to see if it works (or even if its available).
Enjoy!

How do I ensure I have the latest DDU (whatever this is) for this?

device driver uninstaller will tell you to update when you come to use it (if a new version is available.. at the time of writing I've bundled the latest version with the download)

Nice work mate I've got it up and running.
I don't know if this is just me though as I've had a few strange things happen with my system but I could only get it to install if I ran it from the Desktop. If it was sitting deep into my folder system it went through the process and gave me the error that it was part installed. I didn't get that obvious screen flicker as the driver was installed. When I ran from the desktop though it went on sweet.
Strange but maybe worth noting if anyone else gets an error.

Ive installed the latest DDU, uninstalled the old drivers in safemode. After installation of Adrenalin the system tells me that the driver failed to start? These problems started after windows update installed a large update... Any thoughts?

Hey Charlie, just the downloads folder. Ive solved the problem bij reinstalling the whole macbook. Windows update screwed the windows installation and AFS wouldnt merge the two partions. Bootcamp asistant wouldnt let me reinstall... So after that i reinstalled both and it seems to run without any problems now

Cool. Glad it working but what a faff! I've done the same recently. Mind you it's a nice feeling with a clean install.

admittedly this was a slightly rushed release even tho the driver itself is stable a lot of the new software features aren't working. I'll see If I can push out a V2 with some fixes on the weekend. Can't guarantee everything will work though.

Can't guarantee everything will work though. You are doing great work! But ive got an question, does this driver and the things you've done with it change something in the register? Like I told here before I had to reinstall the whole MacBook because of some weird problems. Well, ive just reinstalled windows again because of a weird problem with Windows Update. It wouldn't install some updates, after some time it wanted to install an KB for AMDx64 based systems... Guess what, mine is intel based. It couldn't install Dotnet 3.5 because of some weird issue. All is resolved now because I reinstalled windows but I'm a bit hesitant to reinstall the latest bootcampdriver. I hope you can shed some light on this. Could be that my first fresh windows install was corrupted, but I'm not so sure about that....

Thats not completely true, it was working fine until i installed the bootcampdriver. Also dotNet wouldn't install anymore and for some strange reason it tried to install an AMD processor specific KB while running an Intel. Once again: I'm very thankful for the work he puts in this and not mad at all, these things happen and I'm not sure its the driver that changes some thing but i want to be sure before i have to reinstall windows again

If you google it out turns out that it's just a name that even intel has to use. Any registry changes mirror that which are done for the pc drivers so therefore should be reliable. Some recent windows updates have brought bugs and instability issues for a few people that are likely unrelated to the driver.
