Mat, You might remember my nickname from the mXdriver.com forum. I installed the 17.11.1 driver you recommended over there, and now the SWBF2 game won't launch at all. I can't believe that the drive would cause that, but I don't know what else to think. As a point of reference, here is a link to a support thread I made on the EA forums, which has a video linked to what is going on. Please check it out if you can, I'm going nuts here. answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/SWBF2-game-won-t-launch-from-Origin-Launcher/m-p/6438700#M2179

Odd that you are unable to run the game. Others have stated that they are able to run it ok with 17.11.1. Where have you installed the game? Internal or external drive?

C: drive, I made the windows partition 100GB so that I could run it off the faster SSD in the Mac Pro. Previously with driver 17.8.1 I was running off external D: USB 3 with no issues. Think that's it?
Edit: WTF. It just launched. I haven't changed a thing. This is like the 40th time I've attempted to run it, and for whatever reason it launched this time. Keep you posted.

Step 9: where do I uncheck "Keep system up to date?" I got the error where ReLive didn't take.

see the new video no need to do that. If Relive refuses to install then just skip it.

I'm getting issues where my GPU is throttling itself to attempt to remain at around 66 degrees - it underclocks to 400-500 mhz and stays there. This is the most trackable when playing Overwatch. Running the latest 17.11.1 XG v3 drivers on a MBP 2016 Radeon Pro 460, Windows 10 is updated. Hope you might know of the cause :/ Edit: This has been the case for a while (this kind of underclocking), but it's much worse on the latest drivers for some reason. Looks something like the image I attached below (spikes are when I alt-tabbed out of my game). Orange line is GPU clock and you can see that it's getting stuck around 500-700 in this picture.
