Some nice performance optimisations from AMD's side, including up to 50% fps boost for the Radeon Pro 580 in Destiny 2! Also a potential fix for voltages in Wattman not being applied (maybe this fixes overclocking now? I've not tested this personally).
See the AMD official release notes for more.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TO RESTORE BRIGHTNESS CONTROLS...
1) After installing the drivers, run 'DLighterSetup.exe' in the downloaded folder package. This installs a program called 'Desktop Lighter'.
2) Reboot into MacOS. Turn the brightness on your display to maximum. Note: if you don't do this then the program in Windows can only go to the current brightness setting in Windows as its maximum!
3) Now reboot back into Windows and open up Desktop lighter. You can click the slider to lower and increase brightness. You can also click on the top right button to minimize the slider into the notifications in the bottom right of the task bar.
Note: sliding the slider above 75 - 80% causes the contrast to boost and doesn't look good, so keep the slider no higher than this (which is maximum brightness before contrast increases kick in).
Unfortunately this is the only way to get brightness controls back until AMD bother to re-implement the feature directly in their drivers.
Enjoy!
Have a good day!

Installed on new iMac with Pro 580 (going from stock boot camp drivers). I see no fps boost at all in Destiny 2. Same FPS as with Apples provided drivers

Interesting. Amd specifically mentions rx580 which is in direct relation to radeon pro 580 as far as architecture is concerned.

I already have DLighter installed from previous version. Do I need to install it again after update?

I've got 17.9.3. drivers and Overwatch runs just well. Unfortunatelly last two releases do not work for me - "error 173 – amd installer cannot continue since amd graphics hardware was not found" Tried to run DDU in safe work - didn't help

Do I have to uninstall the previous versions in recovery mode and then install the new drivers?

I Went back to the original boot camp drivers provided by Apple to double check my initial findings about no improved framerate in Destiny 2. Loading up the same checkpoint and using the same exact settings I got these numbers:
17.10.2 - 84FPS Original Apple drivers - 81FPS
So there is a slight increase, but in my findings nowhere near the 50% quoted by AMD. This is at 1440p with a mix of medium and high settings. It might be that the numbers given by AMD is with everything set to max.
iMac: 4,2GHz i7, 40GB RAM and Radeon Pro 580.

I am having some weird issues with this one. I am running a 580 Pro and wattman crashes whenever I try and adjust the clock frequency. When running destiny 2 the clock speed stays stuck at 300 Mhz. Oh well, back to 17.6.2 for now.

Does Overwatch still crash on this version? I don't have Overwatch so I cannot comment. Can anyone else please confirm? Took the plunge and I'm happy to report Overwatch does not crash, at least on my system (MBP 2016 Radeon Pro 460). Using the XGE.

Again this version crashes my machine on installing. I've had to go back to version 17.9.3 anything newer crashes every time I try to install it.

Hi, I'm the guy from isolated country, yes, again. I wonder could you upload this pack to mega.nz please, just Pro500 version, if it's not too much of a bother? Thanks in advance. :-)
