Includes the following changes... - No more 'error 1603' for some users (fixed on AMD's side).
- Important fixes for FirePro users (those of you who installed 17.9.1 should immediately update).
- Brightness control fixes for all iMacs and MBP (AMD still haven't fixed it on their end). Note that the AMD software may not recognize core clock and memory clock speeds because of this modification... there is a chance it may affect some older games but most should still work fine.
DDU no longer has a 'boot to safe mode' button. You must now press shift and click 'restart' from the start menu in order to restart to safe mode. Please help me out by reporting to AMD that brightness controls are not included as standard for bootcamp users in the newest drivers since 17.6.1. If we all do it they might finally listen! Report the issue here: www.amd.com/reportThanks and if you encounter issues let me know and submit a bug report to AMD.

Thank you Matt! Appreciate your hard work. Will download the new driver now. Just wonder if Radeon Chill is still available

Strictly followed the installation instructions. Radeon Chill is not available in 17.9.2. Confirmed that on 2016 MBP the latest Radeon Settings have less options and functions than that in 17.6.2. It seems I have to stick with 17.6.2 for a while.

It is technically possible for me to apply the old Radeon software into the new drivers as I did with 17.8.2. However with each update there is a bigger risk of things not working as they should if I keep doing that. I’ll test it for the next version perhaps, but hopefully amd will get back to me on the issue.

Will it work if I install drivers from 17.9.2 and settings from 17.6.2?

Try running "radeon settings fix" from version 17.6.2 of the driver package. It will install the old crimson software but keep the newer driver. See if restores radeon chill.

Drivers are great, even wattman works and it doesn't crash AMD control panel anymore... but when clocks are not recognizable I can't change any option in it. Hopefully AMD will fix brightness control for bootcamp and clocks will be back again.
Thanks!

I tried the 17.9.2 package on a nMP with D500.
It does not work for me :-(
- drivers install fine - AMD Radeon Pro settings are installed fine X AMD FirePro settings do not work
Hence I have the issue that I cannot get Eyefinity to work properly (side screens flickr and advanced seings like bezel adjustment which are controlled through FirePro settings cannot be setup.
I have to roll back :-( I was hoping for the fix for Project Cars 2 the new driver promised.
Any suggestions how to fix the not installing FirePro settings ?

Working wonders so far on Imac 27 with Radeon 580 pro. Getting the random fps drops on other drivers but this one is a keeper. Thx mate!

Matt, I tried the installation of the fix from the 17.9.2 package - same outcome :-(
I then tried package 17.8.2 I still have - the RadeonPro software and Firepro software work but I do get massive artefacts and screen flickering in Eyefinity on the side screens :-(
I then tried installing 17.7.2 but this would not install (I get the1603 Error with the AMD installer half way through the installation) :-(
I try now to clean with DDU again, then install JUST the 17.9.2 driver ND TRY TO INSTALL THE RadeonPro and FirePro software from the 17.8.2 package.
Do you have any other recommendations ?

Install 17.9.2 then try radeon settings fix from 17.6.2 like it says in the above post.
