I’ve installed latest driver on my Radeon Pro 580 and got no sound from iMac’s speakers. On the official driver it works well, but now I’m muted. I have already tried to reinstall Cirrus driver. And MacHal driver.

Hi I have an Imac 5k, 27" 2017, and I have a similar problem with the sound and I don't know how to fix it (without having to re-install windows)... I did bootcamp with Radeon-Adrenalin-Feb 2022-Red edition and worked it, all perfect. But suddenly, from one day to the next, the sound in Windows does not work, but on Mac side the speakers works perfectly, and if I reboot from Mac to windows, the sound works.. I do not why. Any idea how to fix it..? (the last time it happened to me I had to re-install windows... I prefer to not ) Thanks

I still don’t have any solution for this problem. Reinstalling side drivers for audio, or getting it from bcp driver pack don’t fix this issue. The only way to get sound in Windows - rebooting to macOS and back.

I'm not sure if it helps. Check Device Manager if there's Cirrus device in "Audio inputs and outputs" section. If there's just High Definition Audio Device, update it's driver to use Cirrus driver. You may also check "Sound, video and game controllers" section for Cirrus, but beware that there should be High Definition Audio Device in this section and you shouldn't touch it (it's AMD's audio interface). Thanks for your reply, but it doesn’t help at all. I’ve checked all types of drivers, nothing changes. Moreover, this problem was caught on elder custom drivers and even on original bcp drivers. Looks like incompatible motherboard software update from Apple or something similar.
