Hello, My 2020 16-inch MacBook Pro's fn key is not working in Boot Camp running Windows 10 (Boot Camp Support Software 6.1.8034, direct link), but working correctly in macOS. Could somebody let me know the driver version that is being used by keyboard that's working correctly in Boot Camp? I can switch F-keys using Boot Camp Control Panel but I know FN key should be working. I suspect driver issue or maybe some Windows Service issue (I've got some turned off). My keyboard driver is from 2018 (please use link to BootCamp.pkg and 7-Zip or macOS to open it if you'd like to double-check INF files there, that's what I'm using). I found similar thread at Apple forums ( link) but it's not resolved. Kind regards, chad2

I've figured it out on my own. I had to manually install driver for device with Hardware ID of USB\VID_05AC&PID_0340&MI_01 (if you're using different laptop, double-check PID value using macOS > Device Information, screenshots of how-to can be found in thread mentioned in first post) from extracted Boot Camp package using Apple\AppleKeyboardInternalUSB folder as source> Used my trustworthy Mid 2021 MacBook Pro with Retina display as a reference to troubleshoot. If you'll face similar issue, be sure to examine Device Manager > Human Interface Devices group, if Apple Keyboard is missing there, look for Hardware ID (mentioned above) among "USB Input Devices", you should select exactly MI_01 (there're also MI_03, MI_04). Be sure to reboot computer after installation or just shut it down via power key if Device Manager will take forever to finish updating driver.
P.S. If your "Adjust keyboard brightness in low light" is greyed out in Boot Camp Control Panel, you've got Sensors disabled via Group Policy. Enable them back in Start > Edit group policy > Computer config. > Admin. Templates > Windows Components > Sensors
