Any suggestions? its an know bug what we know of. If you dont like it you need to go back to Dec driver 2020 but we think its on AMD side this bug. Mat has looked at code but nothing has be succecful to repair only can be on amd side now.

ah okay. I had no idea that you were aware of it. Is there a work around? A program to install or somethign? otherwise - is the Dec 2020 much worse than the April ones? I ask simply because I am just looking for the most stable drivers that are newer than the stock AMD from August

But if you need the brightness control you will need to revert to Dec 2020 there it worked before 2021 version

Thumbs up so far on 2020 iMac 27" w/ 5700 XT (trying Red at < 5K for now). The issues mentioned in the March thread during installation are gone. Thanks! can you share your results with Red? Did you use Blue? Any issues? I have the same computer. I have used the Blue version for about the last year with no problems except for March, which I mentioned in that thread.
I decided to use Red now and have no problems aside from running the desktop at lower resolutions. I've settled on 3840x2160, which avoids the a visual doubling of the screen. It still keeps a strange virtual second screen (with an interesting portrait orientation), but I've just selected "Show only on 1" instead of "Extend" in the Display options to avoid losing my cursor. I haven't needed the 5k much in BootCamp so far, so I'll stick with Red until I find a conflict. I tend to run games at 2880x1440 right now for FPS anyway.

2020 iMac 5700XT, working well w/Blue drivers, all good at 5K. It also fixed a problem with some games not going full screen (CP2077 runs well at high/ultra 1440p) Thanks for confirming as I'm on the same machine. I installed Blue drivers and all went well. Passmark GPU tests were improved as well. Stock Apple bootcamp driver (v19) gave me 204 (DX11) and 57 (DX 12). On Adrenalin April edition (21.4.1) Blue I got a bump in performance of 214 (DX 11) and 59 (DX 12). I've left all AMD Radeon Software as stock, do you recommend enabling or changing any settings to get a slight boost for MS FS 2020? Are the Red drivers not safe for 2020 iMac 5700XT? Finally was able to installed Star Wars Squadrons so thank you Mat!

You can still use the red drivers for the best fps, but you might lose 5K functionality and can only use 4k resolution. Otherwise you will get a split-screen issue.

I'm trying to install the Red drivers however, Windows is saying that 'The best drivers for your device are already installed" and it won't let me proceed. How can I get around that?

How can I get around that? you need to start with safe mode and DDU or go to install folder from mat into bin64 there is tool called amdcleanuputility and run that and it should uninstall your drivers so you can install red. if you need to change between version or make blue or red you always need to uninstall the currently driver first before you can install anything again

Great to know and I'll try AMDCleanupUtility.exe and install Red this time. Edit: AMDCleanupUtility.exe worked perfectly and I updated to Red. I got a nice fps update for DX12 in Passmark of 61 instead of stock 57.

Hi! I have the February drivers and would like to try the April ones. I tried March edition using the full DDU procedure but iI ran into the BSOD every single time and only a system restore fixed it.
I think I saw a tutorial to upgrade the drivers without the full DDU procedure but I just can't find it anymore.
Would you be so kind to post a link on how to upgrade the drivers from an early bootcamp.com edition to the latest one?
Thank you very much in advance!!
