Have to take a quick step back from the driver release itself and thank the man who makes it all possible, even through sickness. Donated and get well soon! Commendable! Mr. Matt, thank you for the work you do, the small pleasures we all get form improved performance on our otherwise stunted devices not meant for serious play. Thank you for being a niche in the already niche Driver World.

This version works good with my 2018 MBP15 (560X) + Radeon VII eGPU in Node Pro. Windows version is Insider Preview 19587, 200313-1639. With all previous Radeon drivers, I have to completely remove drivers, switch both cards to Microsoft Basic Adapter, and then run install. The Radeon drivers can only activate eGPU this way, otherwise always code 12. And before shutting down or reboot, I have to uninstall Radeon drivers or next time the eGPU initialization will fail and lock up during boot. Now with March drivers, I finally don't have to do all of that.

Hello,
at first, thank you very much for your effort man, i found this page bcs i wanted to give doom eternal a try π
i have 27β 5k iMac, late 2017 with radeon 580 pro card. I used blue drivers, and i get flickering screen after i did driver installation following your video guide. at about 80% of the driver install, screen started flickering and colorful artefacts appeared, i pressed the power btn and machine instantly rebooted, so it is possible windows crashed behind the flickering. after restart, windows booted, but screen is flickering. i can see more or less normal picture, but colors flicker, as if there was something incorrect about refresh rate maybe, but idk for sure.
once again, thanks alot for your work, hope this helps someone, or if tou could let me know what data you need from me for debug.

You can still boot into safe mode by force-restarting windows three times to get things running back to normal. I'll see if I can look into it further. Appreciate all feedback from yourself and others.

Installed the RED Gaming Drivers on my MBP16 5500M with 8GB. Same issues as described by others. I have removed the old drivers with DDU as always and tried fresh install 2x regular way, 1x with Factory Reset enabled. Then rolled back to the Jan Edition. Not sure if it plays a difference but my Win version is 1909 os build 18363.720 The operating system itself is clean as I use it only for gaming. The apps that are installed are only game launchers, VPN programs and small utilities.
Try as above, install Blue first then do the DDU and install Red. Seems to work.

Just to clarify, did you successfully installed the March driver on a MBP 16 and it works for the dGPU (5300M/5500M)?

Didn't even had to use DDU to install it on my 2017 15" MacBook Pro via Razer Core X EGPU and Vega 64. Runs perfectly! Thank you for your hard work!

Just to clarify, did you successfully installed the March driver on a MBP 16 and it works for the dGPU (5300M/5500M)? No, I have not tried this yet. Will download them tonight and try tomorrow again. I am in China and VPN's can be slightly moody at times. However I did revert to the Blue Jan Drivers and on the side note on the Performance gain was visible on playing Doom Eternal - All settings on High and Textures on Ultra Nightmare - 2048x1280(? I think) avg 45fps. The red drivers were pulling out 30-40 on the same settings. AC Odyssey finally got stabilised 35-60fps (π stabilised) range where Red were dipping at 25 at some points. RDR2 at 1900x1020 with custom sorted settings 35. Didn't test other games yet. Will check and compare the results with March Drivers if I manage to get them to Work. So as now I have the Jan Blue installed - I will DDU them out. Try to Install Blue March Edition, DDU them and then try installing March Red. If I got it right - will report with my findings tomm. maaxaam

Work well on the iMac 2019 with Radeon 580X. I played Doom Eternal and Monster Hunter World Iceborne. I use the red edition. Thanks for your hard work.

Drivers are great but unfortunately donβt work on my 16inch MBP. Which is my Mac with the best GPU!
Good work anyway Mat!
Donated
Do you think this issue is fixable or is it likely an AMD issue?
