70-80 degrees Celsius is safe. Thanks! I am afraid gaming will reduce the life of the computer, as it is not prepared for this. Should I install a software to control the fans and configure them to the maximum when playing? Thank you! Use Macs Fan Control on both Windows and macOS. In Boot Camp, it works unless the computer has the Apple T2 chip. Gaming shouldn't impact lifespan too much unless it's being exposed to high temperatures and rapid temperature changes very frequently. With rapid changes in internal temperature, the solder in the computer's chips may wear off faster because of the constant expanding and contracting of the materials.

Wow! Just tried it out and it really improved FPS in Citra emulator. It used to run so hot on the same MacBook Pro and suffer from more frequent stuttering and framerate drops. CPU would thermal throttle and stop turbo boosting unless I restart or sleep and wake it up again. It would instantly reach 100 degrees Celsius before. Now with the fans at full blast, I can maintain 45-60fps on Citra Canary running Kirby Triple Deluxe. Thanks a lot!

Would be so cool if we get MSI Afterburner to work. I don't know if it's on MSI's end, but i can't get it to work, even following the instructions in the readme. It always unchecks the "Extend official overclocking limit" after reboot MSI Afterburner doesn't allow any clock changes at all.

Anyone using the December drivers with a MBP 16 with an eGPU? Curious to know if you got it working and which driver set you used. Can't seem to get it working or it crashes mid game.

Hey Bro, I have installed it several times according to your instructions, but each time I was informed that the installation failed, code 173. I was distressed. My graphics card is 5500M.

I have the mbp 16 5500m 8gb. Box stays unchecked after I apply the change and reboot. I use the adrenalin red driver, with throttlestop activated. Thanks!

Please note: this is currently untested and is based on both Adrenalin 19.12.1 from AMD and the official BootCamp drivers by Apple/AMD. There is no eGPU support out-of-the-box just yet (that requires a lot more work and is coming soon). Though you should be able to install AMD's official driver for your eGPU (not including BlackMagic eGPUs of course). Please test and report back findings. If the initial results are good I'll add the drivers to the website's main page. DOWNLOADDecember edition coming very soon for all other Mac users. Thanks! Guys, I'm sorry, but I wasn't able to install it. Can someone show the step-by-step process? Thanks.

Thanks a lot for this driver!!
I was previously using "Adrenalin April 2020 Red Gaming Edition" and when I was trying to lower my resolution in games (Or in desktop) it always gives me a black screen. However with this driver I can change the resolution with no black screens and it gives hell of an FPS boost with the lowered resolution (1920 x 1200). I'm using a 16inch Core i9 5500M 4GB model.
Is there a more up to date driver similar to this one? For 5500M/5300M series? Or is this the only one available so far?
Again thank you very much for this!!!

Anyone get MSI Afterburner working to adjust clocks? When I turn on “Extend official over clicking limit” and restart, the box unchecked itself and I can’t make adjustments. Certain games (outer worlds) has GPU frequency pegged at 1400+MHz which increases heat and cause frequent drops down to under 300mhz and sometimes double digits causing it to run like garbage. Trying to underclock a bit.

So I downloaded the blue edition, watched a set up tutorial and now I have exactly the same amount of frames as I did before and now my computer wont boot into windows without an external monitor.
I have a MBP16 with a 5500m 4g and I cant seem to get my GPU to use more than 38% which results in 100fps in halo 3 with everything turned down all the way. it just doesnt make any sense. temps are fine, I have the laptop on the desk with a fan under it.

For Adrenaline December edition, is the blue version still better for Macbook Pro 16? Or red/blue doesn't matter? Which version does people use?
