Hi, I've tested drivers for MBP 16'': works great! Thank you! What a pleasure to have my games full screen. BUT ( a big but), it's the fourth time I have a black screen at reboot. I need to uninstall the drivers in safe mode, then reinstall it. The first time it was when I was testing Yuzu emulator. The computer goes black... Anyway, thank you again for your excellent work. I just had the same issue occurred playing 'Path of Exile' after playing for ~10 minutes. No error pops up, but the screen goes black and the audio cuts off. It hangs for a few seconds then the fans spin to max and it powers fully off. (Last night I played for multiple hours with out issue, unsure what causes it). Apparently this is a known issue with this games recent patch with 5000 series AMD GPU's in general. Disregard this.

First of all thank you.
I can confirm these drivers see large performance increases.
I can also report there are wake from sleep issues (closing lid then opening seems to prompt a restart)

Hi! I just wanted to ask if anybody here experienced power limited GPU throttling on 16inch macbook pro?
I got an 2.3GHz i9 with 5500m 8GB and was trying to play metro exodus on December drivers and was able to get 70-100 fps on 1536x960 with ultra settings(there's one above the ultra) for the first 10s-20s of gameplay suuuuuuper smooth and then the GPU starts throttling. I was thinking thats the CPU, but I gave it some undervolting with throttlestop, turned off turbo boost and also deactivated half of threads available on windows. I got stable 2.3GHz, all cores with power package on ~15W level during gameplay. Then the frame rate is great, no throttling dips, just perfect.
I've also seen that the battery lowers its level like even 10% or so, while I'm trying to game, but the battery was full when I started and the plug was on for the entire time.
I've tried checking clocks, voltage and power measures on the GPU with afterburner, but couldn't read nor alter any of these.
The only thing I know about the GPU is its temperature and after lowering CPU power level its ~80 Celsius degrees.
Please let me know your thoughts and thank you for all your input.

Are you sure your CPU is undervolting? When I apply offset in ThrottleStop... the offset on the live status remains at 0. I read somewhere that Apple disabled the registers for undervolting in windows.

recurrence I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if I experienced these dips on original drivers apple provided. I need to check on this.

I am also having the problem with sleep and hibernate, my 16 inch with 5300m always restarts after sleeping/hibernating.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
Also does anyone know if the generic Bootcamp driver's have been updated for fullscreen support? btw really happy with everything that the drivers from this forum are doing, apart from the restarting problem.

Use solutions #4 and #10 (TdrDelay and sfc /scannow) here. windowsreport.com/amd-driver-crash-windows-10/But if this isn’t working, the driver choices are double-edged right now, and you’ll have to report this as a bug on AMD’s website.

Works pretty well, Can't seem to get 4K@60hz working on an external display though. Defaulting to 30Hz

I just wanted to thank the OP for this driver, it has literally solved more than 30+ hours of problems in getting certain software to run exactly as I wanted it to. Thank you! I really appreciate it.

Hi guys! I have been testing the new drivers with Crysis 1 on High settings (haha). And I got around 75º celsius. The game to be more that 10 years old still looks stuning. I wanted to know what are the common temperatures and if I should worry about them.
Thanks guys!
PS: Thanks for these amazing drivers! I really appreciate the great work!

Should I install a software to control the fans and configure them to the maximum when playing? Thank you!
