The August edition is based on 19.8.1 with many important bug fixes on AMD's side (see the official release notes from AMD). Other changes include... - Forcing the red gaming software for all users, instead of blue pro enterprise software for 'Radeon Pro' and 'Vega' cards.
- Disabled ultra low power saving again across all cards for a small performance improvement.
- Other minor code tweaks and fixes.
DownloadsA - For iMac 4k & 5k 2014-2018, MacBook Pro (all versions except Vega), and Mac Pro - DownloadB - For iMac 4k & 5k 2019 - DownloadC - For iMac Pro - DownloadD - For MacBook Pro with Vega AMD graphics cards - DownloadThank you and enjoy!

Nope, AMD apps didn't install either... unfortunately, my Mac was not happy with the restore point I had created so I am rebuilding Boot Camp. I can try and do a fresh install. Btw, dropped you a donation too. Just want you to know that I really appreciate what you do for us. --(the dragon guy) If you ever need a tester, I have a few machines here and there and am always around to help test or problem solve.

So, for testing purposes. Did you want me to run the installer process first with no eGPU connected? Let me know
(This is an easy enough thing for me to do, just time consuming of course!)

Works fine on MBP 2018 with Vega 20.
If anyone has the same GPU and gets it to install properly, please test CPU throttling with these drivers.
All other previous drivers for me have been problematic with CPU throttling.

Ok, all working
MacBook Pro I9 2.3 Vega 20
1. Nothing plugged in other than power (audio will crash the install) 2. Ddu restart to safe ddu uninstall 3. Setup.exe 4. Reboot 5. Connect eGPu Core X with amd Radeon vii 6. Unplug eGPU before reboot 7. Plug in, reboot 8. Magic of 240fps 😏

Using a 2018 MacBook Pro with Vega 20. Unfortunately this has the same issue as July release, where the GPU is stuck at base 317 MHz clock regardless of load. So far, every driver after 19.2.2 is unusable for me

Mainly with FurMark GPU burn-in test and War Thunder. I have the idle GPU problem once again. Just doesn't appear immediately unlike the July drivers. Restarting temporarily stops it, but once I play a demanding game, the idle GPU kicks in.

Hi!
I now get BSOD with an error regarding 'atikmdag.sys' 1-5min after booting (RP590X and RX5700 XT eGPU). Any ideas or pointers?
EDIT: just checked the AMD forum - many reports with the same error with RX5700 XT. Seems to be a buggy release? Any chance to have a bootcampdrivers version with 19.7.5?
Cheers, G

I had this happen to me before but you can fix it in Radeon Settings -> Display, then disabling Display Cloning and then manually setting the resolution I think.
