The last time I was able to play PUBG with my iMac Pro (Vega56) was Dec 2018.
No matter which driver I use, I always get stuck at the lobby and the map never loads up...
So I need to ctrl+alt+del or alt+F4 to kill the program to get out.
Is anyone having the same issue?
I was playing just fine until Dec last year, and because of this, I think the issue was with the game itself and not the graphics driver. Waited for the patch to come out since then, but so far it doesn't seem like PUBG company is treating this issue with high priority and that's fair considering iMac Pro users on bootcamp isn't part of major user pool.
I was just curious if anyone had any luck on playing PUBG with this machine.

Could be that an update patch has caused this. Perhaps try deleting then reinstalling the entire game again and see if the issue persists?

Hi Mat,
Thanks for replying and sorry for getting back to you late.
I tried fresh reinstalling multiple times and tried other methods but no luck. I guess I'll have to let go of this game for now...
I have a theory on this: there was a really strong push to crack down illegal in-game hacks and because we are using non-conventional system to run the program,
the game's 3rd party program defender would block iMac-pro after scanning its machine profile... But it's just a theory and i have no backing evidence.
It started suddenly after one update patch from PUBG and I'm not able to connect to the game for almost a year now.
