Hi! I just installed the 18.8.2 driver on my iMac 2017 with Radeon Pro 580. The good news is, that this solved my problems with COD Blackops 4 constantly crashing! The bad news is that after installing the driver the hardware encoding in OBS Studio does not work any more. I can select „H264/AVC (AMD Advanced Media Framework)“ but it does not work. When I start recording I get an errormessage (translated from german) : „Output failed! If using NVENC or AMD, make sure your driver is up to date“. I am using the newest OBS Version 22.0.2 64 bit.
Any ideas?

Any ideas? Did you install the OpenCL SDK afterwards? You cou”d try the latest driver but 5k won’t work. However 4K and below should still be ok.

Hi Mat, thanks for your quick answer. No, I did not install the OpenCL SDK. Where do I get that? With the original Apple drivers hardware encoding was working. I tried the latest drivers but even with a 2560x1440 resolution I had that split screen problem.

Stay tuned for a driver update based on the newest unified driver that AMD have released!
