Edit: Please note the issue is only present in Windows, Apple OS seems to work ok.
I have a 2017 iMac 5K Radeon 575, 16GB Ram. Bootcamp with latest Windows 10 updates. I have tried both the apple supplied AMD drivers as well as the recomended driver set from Bootcampdrivers.com.
The Problem: The 27" External Dell Monitor that I use will not wake from sleep. We have tried Thunderbolt 3 to Display cables as well as Thunderbolt 3 to HDMI, no luck. In fact with the Apple supplied drivers the main iMac display started to split in half and Windows would view it as having 3 monitors with the external plugged in. Unplug the external, iMac screen goes back to normal(The bootcampdrivers.com driver set seemed to have resolved this issue). Does anyone else have this problem, have you figured out how to resolve it?
With the latest Bootcampdrivers.com drivers 18.8.2, the display will only come back to life if the Thunderbolt 3 connector is removed and reinserted into the iMac. Unplugging from the Monitor side makes no difference. Power cycling the monitor makes no difference. Rebooting the iMac will awaken the monitor until the machine goes to sleep again.
