it should be possible to merge those drivers in a future update. many people report success with current driver as is.

Hey Mat. Thanks for all you work. I currently play Fortnite on bootcamp with Windows 10 1709 version, and AMD driver 18.3.3, on a MacBook Pro 2017 with Radeon 560 Pro. With those specs, do you believe I should update my driver? Will it work with W10 1709? Or maybe I should upgrade them all—windows AND driver? I just play Fortnite at bootcamp (and Doom every now and then ). So any advice on that direction is appreciated. PS: I'm using 18.3.3 instead of 18.3.4 cause I had some issues and there was always a warning before starting fortnite saying “Your driver have known issues. Use 18.3.3”. So here I am!

You should only update if you are having issues with your current setup in my opinion. I cannot guarantee that you wont have issues with the latest version (18.8.1) though it does work well for myself on an M295X.

But I do encounter some SEVERE stuttering issues every now and then. Like in the middle of the game, it kinda "freezes" only to show up 1-2 seconds later. Which is pretty bad. And from what I see in MSI Afterburner, it's indeed the GPU clock which goes to shit, then goes back up. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's the GPU which is causing all that. But that's what shows up in the graph. So I was thinking of upgrading to see if that issue goes away. Apart from that, it's running quite smoothly. I've read that this problem might also be an extreme screen tearing case. So I'll try turning on vertical sync and see what happens.

Thanks Mat, will try to see if it fixes my Steam Big Picture crash. Edit: Unfortunately Big Picture still crashes on launch for me, but I do have a lot more resolutions now. There isn't a lot I can do about big picture. It's worth submitting a bug report to AMD about it as it is working OK on my system {r9 m295x}. Have you found any solutions for this weiran ? I have the same issue, using the bootcampdrivers.com drivers causes Big Picture to crash on launch no matter what (and I've tried everything I can think of for the past two weeks trying to fix it.) If I uninstall the bootcampdrivers.com driver, Big Picture immediately works again. (I'm on a 2017 MBP with a Radeon Pro 560)

In the end I did try to install 18.8.1 to see if it would fix the stuttering/hitching, but I got the blue screen of death lol.
Luckily I was able to restore to a previous restore point and not need to do a full reinstall.

Hello - I'm having an issue running Eve Online. The launcher want start and usually on other machines it has to do with display driver. Not sure if anyone else has the same experience. Any assistance in helping troubleshoot would be helpful. I'm on windows 10 latest under bootcamp on a nMP 6,1 with dual d700s

Hey Mat (or anyone who knows it): I've restored my computer to a previous point like I said before. I even uninstalled all (using DDU) and reinstalled 18.3.4 once again.
But I don't know why, now when I open MSI Afterburner, the option to extend overlimits is greyed out--it wasn't before.
Plus, I can't really change my voltage or my GPU clock--it's also kinda greyed out. As it couldn't "connect" to my GPU.
I know it recognizes it, cause it says inside the settings "Radeon 560 Pro". But for some reason I can't change a thing.
Any ideas?
Thanks

18.2.2 is the last version to support overclocking of internal GPUs Oh. 18.3.4 doesn't support it? Hummm what about 18.3.3? I'm pretty sure I was able to access all that with 18.3.3 which I was using previously. (18.3.4 seems more stable, so I changed to that.)

Thanks for the work you do Mat. Sorry to hear about the issues with the latest couple of drivers, annoying stuff. I couldn't imagine what we'd do without your driver support, THANKS!
