Hi Guys,
Does anyone here know if it's possible to overclock the Radeon Pro 580 in the mid 2017 iMac? Everything is already running much better since I followed the custom driver installation instructions using the most recent version (been able to double the average FPS in most games), but the option to activate overclocking in the MSI Afterburner tool is greyed out. Is this card simply not supported or is it driver incompatibility? I'm really curious to see how much more performance I'm able to squeeze out of this machine.
Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering the same thing with my iMac Pro. I don't consider any decent amount of overclocking very realistic, since these GPUs are already running very hot. Being able to undervolt would be excellent though, and would most likely improve temperatures and fan noise while retaining identical performance. I really hope overclocking+undervolting features will be unlocked in future Bootcamp drivers for the iMac.

Has anyone had any joy overclocking the 580? I see with yesterday’s release the AMD part of afterburner is still greyed out.

I could force the settings to allow overclocking, however this does not guarantee it will still work and in the past I've found it stops things like Radeon Chill and ReLive from working.

I’d appreciate it if there was a way to do it, I’d just like to give it a try to see if it was worthwhile. Thanks for the work you do with these drivers, you’re a lifesaver!

Overclocking/undervolting is more a lot useful than ReLive IMO. How many people playing games on iMacs record their sessions for YouTube etc.? Not many I'm sure, as that's typically the PC crowd. Also Radeon Chill is less useful on a 60hz monitor IMO, just set the framerate limiter in MSI Afterburner at "59". It would be nice having the option of overclocking (and undervolting) again, like I used to have with my previous Nvidia-based iMac.
Again, thanks for your work with these drivers, Mat. Hugely appreciated!
