Includes the following tweaks... - FarCry 5 support.
- Fixes to the latest Final Fantasy game.
- Minor back-end code tweaks to improve installation reliability.
iMac Pro users please use the separate instructions guide (just install over your current version). All other users please upgrade via removal of old drivers first with DDU. Enjoy!

For some reason I have been getting weird frame skipping stutters in GTA 5 even without any fps drops whatsoever. Do you have any tips? It has been like this for a few weeks now

I don't understand what's happening with my iMac Pro, but it's been a very-stable GPU navigator with this last update. The fans barely spin up like they used to, and if they do they're running more quietly. I was blow away when I could run Skyrim at "MAXED THE FUCK OUT" in 5K with 60+ frames. I'm not even running the optimized Enhanced Edition.
PUBG is still a pain in the ass, but that's PUBG fault for being a optimization traffic jam, I run it on High with ULTRA textures and I don't get any serious fan spin up.
I freaking LOVE this machine now.
ALSO, Mat HD, thanks for your contributions to our gaming life.

I have the base model and Pubg was not playable even with the latest update. Maybe I need to go in a tweak some more settings.

However, the temperature spikes I had in Crysis 1 (1440p) are gone. Big difference. So the drivers can make a notable difference temperature-wise. This makes me wonder about how a proper Vega driver could improve thermals. I'd be interested in trying your Vega beta driver again, now with the T2 chip turned off (at least its security function, didn't try that the last time). Mat, could you make a Vega version of 18.3.4, like you did with 18.2.2? I'll try it out.

can I ask to use additional sites for download? mega.nz gets me sick and tired of their 'fantastic new plans'. I have to resume downloads like 3 times because of 'your quota exceeded' with pauses for 60 min

Mat, is this stable for pubg? Or what driver would you suggest? Using an iMac 5k 2017 Radeon 580 4gb Windows 10 Pubg is working for me on a base iMac Pro, but it is the lowest settings (very low) and still is glitchy when I turn quickly. New to this so I'm not sure what to expect. Hoping to achieve a smooth medium settings game eventually. Also, I don't know if we should do motion blurring and vsync, but it seems that either way for me doesn't improve the glichtiness. Edit: I just triple checked my installation and I think I did one step wrong. I reinstalled the drivers and it appears that I can in fact run PUBG at about medium to high and it is pretty smooth! So happy right now. Also after this update, I can't pair my Apple bluetooth keyboard or mouse. It's not a huge inconvenience as I plan on running a windows keyboard, but wondering if this is something that is common. (Edit: looks like this is a common bootcamp issue unrelated to the video drivers).

Not really, it's meant as an extra protection against data theft, say to avoid industry espionage or data theft. If you turn the T2 security function off, then your iMac Pro will simply work like any other iMac or Mac. A "normal" user don't really need this function anyway. If you decide to turn it on again, you can do that (I tried it myself). I've read people complaining that the chip also produce bugs (e.g. with Facetime), so it’s definately an issue. I also wonder if Macs Fan Control could work with this thing off, too bad I deleted the Bootcamp beta I had.

I'm on an iMac Retina 5k first gen (2015?), and sound hasn't been working. Any suggestion for fixes? The keyboard audio control turns on and the sound registers in volume control as playing but no actual sound comes out, via headphone jack or onboard speakers.

Please try reinstallation. If that fails refer to using an older version.

I have to say 18.3.4 overall has been excellent, the best driver version so far for the iMac Pro. Right now, I'm playing The Witcher 3 with every visual setting maxed out in 1440p, except for hairworks and blur/DoF (which I can't stand), and the framerate never goes below 60 (afaik). It also runs cooler with older games like Crysis and STALKER, unlike other driver versions that would heat up the GPU during certain places in games (connected with shadows and lighting I think).
I'm really impressed with my iMac Pro w/Vega 64, as far as gaming goes. The screen itself puts most PC monitors to shame, and 18.3.4 has been working very well. Now, if only someone could figure out how to access the SMC in Bootcamp, so we don't have to set the fans RPM in OSX before booting into Windows...

The iMac Pro is chugging along nicely with 18.3.4. Thanks, Mat!
