Penguin, why not simply use 1440p in Windows, since not all programs scale properly in 5K anyways, problem solved. It's kinda funny looking at 1440p again though, after having gotten used to a retina screen. I think I'll hold off on 18.2.3, probably not a big deal, except for a couple of newer games that got a big performance boost. Yes, the 18.2.2 driver has worked really well. Still hoping for a full driver, which could hopefully unlock overclocking and undervolting, as AMD set the stock volt settings on the Vega line fairly high. There is good potential there for having the Vega Pro 56/64 running cooler, or getting more performance without higher temperatures.

Given that I didn't have this issue with the Enterprise driver I'm not sure why I have it with the '580' driver. Do you also have the Crimson software installed? I still have the 'AMD Radeon Pro and AMD FirePro' software and I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to download the Crimson software separately. Thanks

Hi there,
Yes I know the text get blurry (ie. non-retina) at regular 1440p, but I assume you use Windows only for gaming? I tried 2880p at 200%, but some windows here and there would pop up without proper scaling. Not worth it for me.
I don't have the Crimson software installed no, only "AMD Radeon Pro and AMD FirePro". Crimson has Enhanced Sync afaik, which would be nice. However, all games I've played so far have triple buffered vsync (maybe because of Windows 10's recent gaming update).

Does anyone know why my audio goes funny after 15-20 mins of playtime? Once I quit out of the game it's fine? The audio goes all distorted and warbley.

Bad audio drivers basically, used to happen more on my old macbook when running games or doing more intensive stuff. I still get it on the odd occasion with my focusrite interface after switching bit rates. Usually fixable by doing that.

I had that issue as well. I resolved it by changing my audio device selection to go out through the audio jack to external speakers (no corruption through there for some reason). If you don't have that option, I found that if you turn the volume all the way down and leave it that way for some time then turn it back on it sort of resets the audio to work (for at least that duration again).

Apple's Bootcamp audio drivers are bugged all around (internal speakers sound muffled/bad, internal speakers will start to make static noise after a while, sound latency on headphones output). The only real option at the moment (with Apple's crappy Bootcamp support) is to use an external sound card.

Thanks for your feedback Mike. I use a lot of other applications on Windows (typing and reading intensive) so I need to switch back and forth between 5K and 1440p so I'm hoping for a fix in the future. Thanks again!

Just installed 18.2.2 on Pro Vega 64. Works fantastic in PUBG. Definitely an improvement.
However, Overwatch crashes on start, w/ the dialog "Your rendering device has been lost! Application closing!"
